Hi everyone,

I'm so glad to be sending some greetings after a long time away! I've had some exciting adventures over the summer and fall and  will share more about that in the new year. For now, I am happy to share some new goodies with you!

As we head towards the BIG holiday season, we may have different ways of celebrating........ and for dealing with stress. For most of us, the season can bring a mixed bag of feelings. We can cycle through these feelings several times a day, from curious expectation to overwhelm and even dread. How can we navigate this complicated season without being washed away by the craziness that surrounds us? Read on...

Remember What LIGHTS YOU UP?

At this time of year, stress may seem to surround us in many ways and it can seem challenging to undo the tangle of stress threads that pulls us in different directions.

This might seem an unusual place to start, but there is wisdom in knowing what brings us peace and joy. Connecting to what lights us up is a wonderful practice anytime, but in stressful times when we have too much to do, using this practice as a touchstone can help to ground us in a more solid and peaceful state where we are not as easily swept away by stress. It creates a more resilient inner landscape that can nourish and strengthen us every day.

What Lights You UP?
This is a short meditation exercise to help us build a place of resilience that we can connect to at any time.

This is a link to a little meditation that helps you connect to what lights you up. This has a lot of benefits for mind, body and emotions. We reduce cortisol, the big bad stress chemical and our system is flooded with happy brain chemicals that bring feelings of calm, creativity and connection. From this place we are more able to balance daily ups and downs and create our days from a place of joy.
